Rhianna’s New Show

Rap star Jay-Z performed two songs together with Rihanna at the launch of her new album, Rated R that took place in Brixton, London.

The famous 21-year old singer, who comes from Barbados, presented her new show, which was the first since the assault of her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown. The assault occurred in February earlier this year.

Rihanna appeared on stage wearing an eye mask and in leotard. She performed not only a selection of entirely new songs but as well as such great hits of her as Take A Bow.

In the final, close to the end of the show, Jay-Z walked on the stage. This was quite a surprise as there had been no information of him going to take part in the show. Jay-Z performed one of his latest hits, Run This Town, and Rihanna’s Umbrella.

The show lasted forty five minutes. The beginning of the concert was marked by two new songs from the album. These were Wait Your Turn and Russian Roulette.

The compositions were slow and dramatic. They determined the atmosphere of the show that included Rihanna’s hits that were remade with the help of distorted guitars and dark, pulsing synths.

On the list of the songs that were performed during the recent show were such hits that gained a real success as Music and Disturbia. The song Hard that is to be the second from the new album the singer performed with Young Jeezy.

Famous rapper, Jay-Z, signed the singer to Def Jam records. Some time earlier he went to a concert that was held by his wife Beyonce, which took part at the O2 on Sunday night, alongside Kanye West.

Thus, Rhianna had a great opportunity for going back to her normal life and overcoming the staggering events of February.

Among world’s celebs visiting the show are Adele, Keisha Buchanan, Tinchy Stryder, Emma Bunton and Chipmunk.

Miley Cyrus has officially been voted as the “worst influence of 2009” The Teen Star traded her innocent Hannah Montana Image with a more super sexy outfits and dancing on a pole. The pole said she topped stars like Kanye West and Brittany Spears and made it to #1 worst influence of 2009 by taking in 42% of the votes. I can think of few reasons and one was the pole dancing at the Teen Choice Awards and the photos she sent her ex-boyfriend. She is only 16 and she should act more her age but hey, if you don’t like it or something, watch Taylor Swift instead as she is a better role model for kids!

As I sat watching the VMA and saw Kanye walk on stage and take the microphone from the innocent Taylor Swift, I could not believe my eyes. I quickly had to get an understanding of who Taylor was, because her name did not ring a bell with me, but I knew Kanye, and I knew he was unstable. I knew he was a bull in a china closet. So, I found out swiftly (no pun intended) that Taylor was just a young girl and her standing there in shock was both shock, that she was on stage with a “star” who called her by name, and that she was in shock because that same “star” had just dissed her. I saw the camera pan the audience and as it hit Beyonce, she was also shocked. In fact my mouth was still open…Once I closed my mouth I realized that Kanye had just done the silliest thing and the more we talk about it the more he is sitting somewhere smiling. So I want to talk about Taylor and I want to talk about Beyonce.

Beyonce is beautiful. She is gracious and mature no matter what her age. Instead of ignoring what had happened on stage just minutes before her acceptance of the VMA award for Video of the Year. She very humbly turned her time over to the young Taylor Swift. She is the real hero of the VMA’s if you ask me. No one made a big deal of what happened, but Taylor had to have been confused, she looked confused and I felt sorry for her. She was given a change to thank her camp and that made her a happy singer. I hear the president even weighed in on the subject. I don’t think he was as gracious as Beyonce. I for one hope the public will not mention Kanye’s name for a while. Let’s just pretend he is not around for a while, and maybe then he will calm down and get a little humble. If Beyonce did not get excited about the award that went to Taylor then no one else should care. It is a MTV award show anyway. Taylor did well when she came back out on stage. It was very refreshing to see everyone recover and not use profanity or negative words to right the wrong.
