Jennifer Anniston Using Romance to Promote her Movies? Say it ain’t so!!!

According to a nine minute report compiled by CNN’s Showbiz Tonight, it is claimed that Jennifer Anniston’s romantic life is directly linked to the release of her various new romantic comedy releases. They feel that Jennifer knows it is the only way to get her movies to sell so she hooks up with a famous man and gives the public a look at her private romantic life.

It is no secret that the 40 year old former “Friends” star has stated she doesn’t mind if people view her as single and lonely. This may even help the public root for her if they feel bad for her. While it’s hoped that Jennifer is not this fake person that Showbiz Tonight would have everyone believe, they do make a somewhat convincing case for their side of things.

Right before the release of “The Break-Up,” Jennifer hooked up with her co-star, Vince Vaughn. It seems that history is repeating itself. Jennifer has been highly visible with her “The Bounty Hunter” co-star Gerard Butler. However, it doesn’t always have to be her co-star. It can sometimes just be a handsome but flakey singer, like John Mayer. While they were on again off again, they were very much back together right before the release of “He’s Just Not That Into You.”

To promote “Marley and Me” she posed for GQ magazine last year wearing only a tie. Recently, it has been reported that Jennifer and Butler posed for a “practically naked” W magazine spread. This promises to leave the readers breathless. It is rumored that the some of the pictures were so sexy they will not be published.

Now the final thing she has been known to do prior to a new film of hers being released is talk about her ex-husband Brad Pitt. This is not something she has done yet but it’s believed it will happen.

Maybe Jennifer’s formula isn’t such a bad one. She wasn’t romantically involved with her “Management” co-star Steve Zahn and that one did not seem to do so great.

Robert Pattinson to Appear at Benefit for Help to Haiti

It’s official: Twilight star Robert Pattinson will appear on the Help for Haiti telethon on Friday. The televised telethon was organized by actor George Clooney in the hopes of bringing in some much needed money for aid to the devastated country of Haiti in the aftermath of a 7 earthquake. Rob will be appearing from London in the U.K. via satellite. The appearance of the sexy star is hoped to attract younger viewers to help the cause for Haiti.

Other celebrities who will be appearing are The Edge, Jay-Z, Rhianna, and Bono. Jay-Z and Bono will be performing a song via satellite from London that they wrote and recorded last week.

There will also be celebrities answering the phones so if you call in, you may be able to talk to the likes of Courtney Cox, Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt, Renee Zellweger, Zac Efron, and Colin Farrell. Performers for the telethon include Shakira, Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, and Bruce Springsteen.

There are several celebrities lined up to help host this event. You will be seeing George Clooney hosting from Los Angeles, Wyclef Jean, who was born in Haiti, will host from New York City, and Anderson Cooper hosts from Haiti. Appearing from Los Angeles are celebrities Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock. In New York, along with Wyclef Jean, others performing from there will be Mary J. Blige, and Sting.

Airing this Friday on all major United States television networks, the benefit will last for 2 hours. It will be seen in the U.K. on MTV beginning at 1:00AM GMT on Saturday, January 23. All funds raised through the benefit will be sent to the Red Cross, Oxfam America, Unicef, Yele Haiti Foundation, and Partners in Health.

Taylor Swift is People’s ‘Most Intriguing’

Taylor Alison Swift, an American country pop singer and songwriter, guitarist and actress, has been named “most intriguing of 2009″ by the magazine “People”.

Taylor Swift is now 20 years old, but her country-pop crossover album got its popularity and became the biggest selling of 2009 (by the way she has two albums – Taylor Swift and Fearless). Due to it she got five American Music Awards and the craved Country Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year. The singer was called the “golden girl” in the People double-issue. Among other named given there were “Artist of the Year” by Billboard Magazine in 2009 and 69th-most powerful celebrity by Forbes (as she earns $18 million).

After getting into the People’s list as “the golden girl” the singer said in her interview that success was her permanent dream. But still she would like to stay the same person, just remain herself.
