Ryan Seacrest was visitng the Childrens Hospital in Orange County when one of his fans, Chidi Uzomah approached Ryan Seacrest and asked for an autograph. Seacrest declined his request and walked away. Chidi started following Seacrest and at which point Seacrest’s Bodyguard got between the two and asked him to leave.

According to TMZ.com, at this point Chidi Uzomah started choking Seacrest’s bodyguard. The security guards obtained Mr. Uzomah and detained him until the cops showed up.

Chidi Uzomah was arrested and charged with assault and battery for attacking the bodyguard. The cops also found a switchblade on Mr. Uzomah.

This is what we call: An autograph attempt gone bad!
