Recently there have happened the most imprudent stealing ever been in the world of fashion. The collection of Victoria Beckham’s dresses ‘Posh’ was stolen last Thursday. It was snatched on the way to the U.S.A. and the total price for Beckham’s designs makes about $575,000.

Music-News informs that the former singer of Spice Girls Victoria Beckham has become a victim of a thoroughly planned heist that deprived her of about 50 to 75 items of clothes from Spring/Summer 2010 collection. The clothes were stolen by two armed thieves from the van shipping the collection to Nieman Marcus in New York. It was said that the violators were following the van from the initial point of the shipping (the office 19 Entertainment) to a storehouse. As soon as the van reached the storehouse, thieves assaulted the driver and took away the boxes with clothes. Fortunately, the driver of the van was not seriously hurt.

The criminals probably have a feeling that they can make a fortune of selling the clothes on the black market. Victoria Beckham was informed straight away about the incident. The representatives of “Spice” ex-singer proved that she got shocked and deeply depressed, though first of all she was concerned about the condition of the driver. The spokesperson of Victoria Beckham says that she has a hope that Victoria will have time to remake all the collection for delivery to Nieman’s as soon as it is possible.

The collection of stylish clothes from Victoria Beckham released last year had a great success. A number of celebrities, among them Elle Macpherson, Dannii Minogue, Drew Barrymore, Katherine Jenkins and some others, are fond of her collection and like to go out in dresses designed by the spouse of famous football player Beckham.
