Melanie Griffith, an American actress, the star of Broadway’s “Chicago” and of “Working girl”, has been reported to suffer from skin cancer. Luckily, the stage of cancer is not very serious and the actress successfully removes the signs of the illness from her face.
Nevertheless, the signs of the operations were left. The ugly dark spot has been said to be seen on the right side of actress face. Griffith was first spotted with the bruise outside the Neil George salon in Beverly Hills Saturday afternoon.
Melanie’s representative wasn’t immediately available for comment. But on Thursday Robin Baum said the procedure of skin surgery was made at the early stage of cancer progression in order to preclude further complications. That is the reason why Griffith had a large black eye, it appeared after the surgery.
Melanie Griffith together with her husband, Antonio Banderas has a daughter Stella Banderas who is now 12 years old. Griffith also has two children (an adult son and a daughter Dacota) from previous marriages. There are a lot of curious fans that are indignant at the fact why Banderas is still with Melanie Griffith. She looks now aged and messy – they say. Probably, the reason lies not in the Melanie’s appearance. It is a well-known fact that the past of Melanie is far from being perfect. Griffith has even confessed that she had problems with drugs and alcohol after she divorced with Steven Bauer, her second husband. So strong was the depression that Melanie Griffith felt the need to drink herself to sleep at night. Her first husband, an actor Don Johnson, Griffith checked into rehab and became sober with his help.
And now the actress struggles with a serious illness. What concerns her future plans, next year Melanie Griffith is going to appear on an episode of TV’s “Nip/Tuck”. Of course if she feels much better. We all wish Melanie good health!
