Round 1 of NFL star Shawn Merriman’s law suit against Tila Tequila goes to Merriman. Tila never responded to the suit so the court entered a judgment by default against her.
She is being sued by her ex-boyfriend San Diego Chargers player after she made a fool of herself with a naked rant on her live Ustream page. During this rant of last year, Tequila accused Merriman of choking and attacking her, sleeping with minors, and forcing them to take drugs. She also said he would not date African Americans and that he makes drugs at home.
Merriman says that Tequila admitted to lying but it doesn’t matter. Because of all her lies, he lost several business deals and he is not going to let that go. His law suit is for intentional interference with contracts and unfair competition. This includes an infringement against his trademark logo “Lights Out” that appeared on Tequila’s website.
Since Tequila never responded to the claim, the judge ruled against her. She might have just spaced responding due to being so busy talking about people on her website and posing for photo ops so the world can see how she is “grieving” for her fiancée’, the late Casey Johnson.
She also seems to have found another way to keep herself in the limelight. After claiming she was pregnant multiple false times, she presented RadarOnline.com with a sonogram proving that she is actually pregnant this time. Tequila refuses to tell who the father is, but she assures the world that he is someone famous in the entertainment industry. In addition, she claims that this pregnancy was endorsed by Casey, because they had planned the entire thing together.
It was only in December than Tequila spread the word of another pregnancy. That one was with her brother and sister-in-law’s baby. This, of course, proved to also be false.
