The X Factor judge, Danni Minogue, has acknowledged that she is pregnant and expecting her first child with her boyfriend Kris Smith, a former rugby star. This 38 year old singer and actress from Australia first set off rumors when she was shown with what appeared to be a small baby bump seen in pictures taken by photographers. After her twelve week checkup, she announced that she is pregnant and happily awaits the birth of her first child.

The couple has been dating since 2008 and was ecstatic about the news they have received, going as far as twittering the news to all of their fans. “Woo Hoo I’m going to be a Daddy” was seen by all of the followers for Kris Smith and for Danni Minogue it was “Woo Hoo I’m going to be a Mommy!” Even though the rumor of her being pregnant has been around for a few weeks, she still wanted to make absolutely sure before she announced their coming bundle of joy.

There is still no word whether or not Danni will be returning to the X Factor in August, as her baby will be born sometime in July. Although she will probably want to take some time off after a few of those late night feedings that babies have been known for throughout the ages. If you aren’t getting any sleep at nights, then you do not want to get up and go to work in the morning. Most parents know exactly how this feels and can sympathize with Danni. All in all, she is very happy to be able to announce this as fact and no longer rumor based, and is highly excited about being a mother for the first time. Now, we just have to wait to see pictures of the baby and its mother.
