Celebrities Suffered From Lax Security

 security Some celebrities do carry about keeping their private lives in top secret, others on the contrary seem to keep their doors wide open.

Teens suspected in the burglary gang, who stole over $3 million in jewelry, clothes and other posh goods from the homes of such celebrities as Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Megan Fox and other, managed to get into the homes as the doors were unlocked.

Apparently the stars were not very cautious as far as security was concerned. Thus, in case with Lohan’s home, through a window by opening it with the help of a screwdriver, according to the documents. As it is reported, the gang got the addresses simply by searching the web when the stars were out of town and then just waited for the possible moment in order to break in.

The search warrant says that one of the suspects, Nicholas Prugo, who is 18, committing the crimes and gave out other suspects, among them Rachel Lee, 19, whom he named the organizer of the gang’s activity. Lee was eager to get the fashionable clothes from famous designers that she so much admired.

According to the search warrant Prugo and Lee also “visited” Paris Hilton and Rachel Bilson’s residences several times.

Among other celebrities who were subjected to burglars’ attacks are Orlando Bloom, Audrina Patridge, Brian Austin Green, and Ashley Tisdale. From the total amount of stolen things only $2 million has been found and the rest is still to be discovered.

Other suspects include Diana Tamayo, 19, Alexis Neiers, 18, Courtney Ames, 18, Roy Lopez, 27, and Jonathan Ajar, 27. Lee’s attorney has not given any comments. Sean Erenstoft, an attorney for Prugo, reported that his client’s participation in the crimes was minimal. At the same time Neiers’s attorney, Jeffery Rubenstein, claimed that all the charges against his client will be dismissed.
