Is Tiger Woods in Rehab for Sexual Addiction?

Tiger Woods has made many unflattering and shocking headlines lately through the revelation that he has been maintaining several mistresses even though he is married to a beautiful former model, Elin Nordegren. Most men would be more than satisfied with a wife like Elin, but not Tiger. At last count, his mistresses numbered a staggering 14.

Since Elin has fled to her homeland of Sweden where she has reportedly bought a mansion for herself and her children, no one seems to be sure of the whereabouts of Tiger. It has, however, been reported that he may currently be in treatment at a clinic in Arizona that is known to treat sexual addictions. According to People magazine, it is widely believed that he is currently a patient at The Meadows. This is an upscale clinic located in Wickenburg that caters to addictions of alcohol, drugs, mood disorders, and compulsive behaviors.

This $1,000 a day facility has treated other celebrities for sexual addiction. These include David Duchovny and Eric Benet, ex-husband of Halle Berry. Celebrities like Kate Moss, Matthew Perry, Whitney Houston, and Robbie Williams have all been treated at The Meadows.

Their sexual addiction program is called Dakota and lasts around 35 days. It claims to be dedicated to treating all sorts of sexual disorders and all aspects of them. The Dakota program works with the patients to maintain sexual sobriety by trying to get to the core reasons for it in the first place. Once these have been addressed, the staff helps in the healing process.

Tiger may have actually begun this in house treatment at The Meadows at some point back in December 2009. This has not been confirmed but is widely believed to be the case. It may be where he disappeared to when he dropped out of sight following the scandal.

Elin and Tiger Woods Going to Divorce?

Probably the trip is a sign of thinking. According to the Sun (UK), while Elin Woods lives in a luxurious chalet paying £5,000 per night, Tiger goes on to live in privacy at home in the U.S.A. The spouses have not been seen together since the car crash outside their Florida mansion the result of which was an endless succession of mistresses for sitting with Tiger. There was a new email gossip about Tiger Woods that was spread in the Internet some days ago. The message says that Tiger’s wife found a strange text on his cell phone from his mistress Rachel Uchitel. At this very moment Tiger was playing poker outside. When he came back home at midnight Elin Nordegren confronted him with many questions about the text she had read but her husband refused to acknowledge anything. The truth is that Uchitel affirmed that there were no intimate relations with Woods, but the source told completely different things. They wrote texts each other but no one knows the real reason of quarrels and the fight between Tiger and Elin. Anyway Woods didn’t have a broken face or any unusual cuts on the face or lost teeth. Everything was ok. Moreover, the message says that when Woods smashed the car Elin panicked and at once called the agent Mark Steinberg who came to the hospital to meet the couple. The doctor recommended a plastic operation in Phoenix in order to repair the damage of Tiger’s face. The result of the operation would have shown that nothing had happened. The email also tells us that the star came back to Orlando on Wednesday or Thursday after he got better and recuperated from his treatment.

As usual plastic operation to a specific patient like a superstar of Hollywood or some other well-known person is not announced to the public. Therefore, the part of the plastic surgery written in the message is not clear.

In reality either Tiger or Elin wants to divorce but in the message nobody intends to do that.
