A worker at the hotel told the UK Sun that Russell arranged a unique dining experience. A table was set in a garden and candles were everywhere. Russell and Katy arrived via horse and carriage, sipping champagne. Dinner was served. A fireworks display took place at midnight and then the couple was taken to Mughal Garden. This location was also decorated with candlelight and flowers.

This is where the actual proposal occurred. Using a bit of ingenuity and cleverness, Russell had instructed his butler to hide the diamond ring in the flowers. It is not clear how, but Katy did locate the ring. When she did, Russell popped the Big Question to her. With no hesitation at all, Katy happily accepted. It is not surprising that she did as they seem to be a couple who will be able to make it for the long haul.

Thus far, they have either not set a date, or have just not released it to the public. It makes sense that it will not be a terribly long engagement given the short time span from beginning to date to becoming engaged. Many say they would not be surprised if Russell and Katy decide to just forego a huge and lavish affair in favor of a quickie ceremony at a Las Vegas wedding chapel.

The romance started in September and the two have been seeing each other since then. Katy states that the most wonderful thing in their relationship is that they have their own talents and careers and lives but they do pay respect to each other. She finds it very important and they want to keep the things private.

At the same time the singer realizes that being in the centre of media attention is an indispensable part of being famous, so the fact that her relationship with Brand is in the spotlight does not come as a surprise to her.

This year Katy presents the MTV Europe Music Awards. She will be dressed in lace and feathers and thinks it will look sexy and romantic. But she has strong doubts that her boyfriend is going to like the outfit. As she says he would like to see her more covered, the best variant is something resembling mummy.

Katy is also really thrilled about her MTV Unplugged album release. She said that she listening to Nirvana and Lauryn Hill she had always wanted to do the same thing some day. So dreams come true. The celebrity finds the idea of showing the songs in different dimension really great as it will enable listeners to see the song’s skeleton and define whether it is worth listening to or not.

But this does not mean Katy is going to turn her back on the pop music. As it is known one of her favorites is Beyonce. She is even going to work with the producers behind the famous hit Single Ladies. We will just wait and see what will come out of this idea.
