The actress says that even in case you purchase a fur glove with the little ornament, it means that the animal was killed for this glove to be made.

A couple of years ago, Mendes was shot nude for the PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) campaign that went under the motto “Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur”. However, this time the actress has changed her methods. She commented on a video of PETA’s covert material featuring slaying animals for getting their fur.

As the actress reports, on this video one can see animals being beaten to death and other kinds of slaughtering that stun you with its severity. In order not to mar the fur, the killers even resort to anal electrocution.

As the video, which lasts for 3 minutes, includes really horrible scenes, it, apparently, will not be shown on TV. However, it will present any difficulty for you to obtain it on the web.

Mendes adds that this video is, of course, not something that you can have a desire to see, but it is the thing you absolutely have to see.

The actress believes that any person, who will see the video, will reject furs as fashion.

Mendes suggests that even in case you do not take any measures today, it will be present in your mind and you will eventually make the right decision. This is the reason why those gruesome examples are of such significance. Once you they get to your mind, they never go away. They will always be there preventing you from buying furs.

According to the actress, it was her dog, Hugo, who really made her change her attitudes and take that decision to protest against fur.
